The optimized HD optical system of the Viper HD binoculars reduces chromatic aberration and enhances resolution and light transmission for true-to-life color rendering. XRPlus anti-reflective coatings applied to all air-to-glass surfaces ensure high light transmission, increased clarity, and optimal performance in low-light conditions. Lightweight, they can be used handheld or mounted on a tripod.
Their dielectric multi-layer prism coatings deliver images that are bright, clear, and color-accurate. Phase correction on the roof prism model further increases image resolution and contrast. They are also equipped with ArmorTek coating, which provides scratch resistance while protecting the lenses from scratches, oil, and dust.
Compact and robust, these binoculars are protected against moisture, dust, and fog thanks to O-ring seals and argon purging. They can also be mounted on a tripod or attached to a car window for greater versatility.
The Viper HD 8x42 binoculars offer customized adjustments via multi-position eyecups and a central focus wheel. The right eyecup allows diopter adjustment for optimal vision. They can also be used by eyeglass wearers thanks to twist-up eyecups.
