Central focusing makes it easy to adjust between subjects. Twist-up eyecups help position your eyes, including when using glasses. Try the fit if full-field viewing with glasses is a priority.
Optics and coatings
BaK-4 roof prisms and fully multi-coated lenses support a bright, contrast-rich image. Ultra Wide Band coatings reduce light loss through the optical system. PC-3 phase correction helps preserve detail and contrast in the roof prisms.
The E-Series uses lead-free glass but does not include the ED Prime glass found in the Legend L-Series. Compare the two if control of colour fringing is important to your observation.
Outdoor construction
The magnesium body balances rigidity and weight. At the listed 652 g, the binoculars remain manageable for regular outings. Rubber armour improves grip and provides everyday protection.
