The optimized HD optical system in these binoculars reduces chromatic aberration and enhances resolution and light transmission. A bit heavy of course (850 g) for birdwatching (you need a support for migration counts, and any support is quickly welcome even for simple observation), but this weight is normal for 12x50s. However, they are impeccable in sharpness and brightness. And for a truly attractive price, which includes essential accessories (including the carrying case). I recommend them.
