Classic Design Compact Format
The Merger LRF thermal imaging binoculars are designed in the style of classic daytime binoculars. With their reduced form factor, these thermal imaging binoculars are perfectly suited to the size of the hand, while offering an attractive appearance and ideal ergonomics. The six control buttons are positioned in an easily accessible area, and the most frequently used digital functions are activated with a single press.
A Comfortable Experience

The design of the Merger LRF binoculars takes into account the characteristics of human vision. Every person naturally receives visual information simultaneously through two visual channels. Observing with both eyes causes less fatigue than using a single eye. This allows for better detection of small or blurry objects and increased performance in low-contrast scenes compared to similar thermal monoculars with equivalent technical specifications. The interpupillary distance is adjustable on the Merger LRF from 56 to 71 mm to suit the user's individual characteristics.
Integrated Laser Rangefinder
Knowing the distance to the target is an essential factor in making the right decision. An integrated laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1 kilometer allows you to measure distances in both single measurement and continuous scan modes, with an accuracy of ±1 meter for fast and error-free situation assessment.
HIGH-DEFINITION THERMAL IMAGING WITH 640x480 PIXEL SENSOR @ < 25 mK NETD
A high-sensitivity NETD < 25 mK sensor captures even the slightest temperature differences during observation in low thermal contrast conditions, as well as in rain or fog. The 640x480 pixel resolution ensures reliable target identification, high-quality visualization of animal anatomical features, and fine details of the surrounding environment.
HIGH-POWER F50/1.0 OBJECTIVE
The characteristics of thermal imaging optics have a decisive influence on a thermal imager's ability to capture even barely measurable levels of radiation. Combined with ultra-sensitive sensors, the high-power objectives of the Merger LRF thermal imagers (F50/1.0) offer maximum detection efficiency. During rain or fog, when the thermal contrast of the observed scene is minimal, the Merger LRF user always has access to a detailed, high-contrast, and informative image of the highest quality.

TWO INDEPENDENT BATTERIES. UP TO 10 HOURS OF CONTINUOUS OPERATION.

The Merger LRF is powered by two rechargeable batteries: one integrated with a capacity of 4 Ah, and the other removable with a capacity of 3.2 Ah. A single charge ensures up to 10 hours of operating time, sufficient to cover the active use of the optic during a hunting session. The relief on the body of the removable battery allows you to precisely identify the insertion direction, enabling quick and safe replacement even in complete darkness.

LONG-RANGE DETECTION
A powerful F50/1.0 objective lens combined with a professional-grade thermal imaging sensor with 640x480@17µm delivers exceptional detection capabilities. A standard 1.8 m tall object can be detected at a distance of 1800 m in total darkness.

Variable zoom from 2x to 20x
Digital zoom up to 8x provides enhanced focus and improved overall target recognition at significant distances. The zoom can be adjusted either gradually in 2× steps or continuously for a truly optimal field of view, customized for a specific situation.
Reinforced structure in high-quality magnesium alloy
The Merger LRF is designed for constant, often demanding use. Its magnesium alloy housing is both lightweight and durable. It protects the thermal imaging device's internal components from shocks, splashes, humidity, heat, and cold. Additionally, a metal structure dissipates heat from the electronic components, minimizes image noise, and increases the device's operational consistency during long observation sessions.
Integrated photo and video recorder
The Merger LRF features a built-in video recorder. The internal memory of the Merger LRF can store hours of video and tens of thousands of photos. A single button press captures an interesting scene or starts video recording. The sequence is transferred to a computer hard drive via a USB-C port. Every Merger LRF owner has access to 16 GB of free cloud storage for photos and videos captured with the device in the Pulsar cloud space. Simply install the Stream Vision 2 mobile app, register, and connect the device to a smartphone via WiFi.
Remote operation from a smartphone and software updates with the Stream Vision 2 app
The integrated WiFi connects the Axion 2 XQ to Android and iOS smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 mobile application. This opens up a wide range of applications, including wireless device software updates, real-time image streaming from the device to the smartphone screen, posting of photo and video content captured by the device to social networks or transferring them to messaging apps, remote control of the device’s digital functions, and access to the latest releases from Pulsar. Additionally, registered users receive 16 GB of cloud storage for photos and videos recorded with the device.
Enhanced Wi-Fi connectivity with 2.4/5 GHz frequency band support
In the Merger LRF thermal imager, the standard 2.4 GHz WiFi channel for smartphone connection is complemented by an efficient 5 GHz band. The 5 GHz connection offers higher bandwidth, faster data transfer rates, reduces interference, and ensures greater connection stability, resulting in improved productivity and easier operation of the thermal device with a smartphone.
High-contrast HD AMOLED displays
The high-contrast AMOLED screen delivers enhanced color rendering, low power consumption, and fast response time, providing a sharp and precise observation image even in freezing conditions.
IPX7 fully waterproof
IPX7-rated full waterproofing ensures protection against heavy rain, snow, or other precipitation. The device is designed to operate reliably even after submersion in water up to 1 meter deep for 30 minutes.
Wide operating temperature range (-25...+50°C)
The Merger LRF’s housing, power supply, optics, and electronics are engineered for use across a broad temperature range. The Merger LRF maintains its reliability and efficiency even in extreme cold down to -25°C.
A selection of 8 color palettes
The 8-color palette enhances visualization in varying conditions. While the classic White Hot mode is exceptionally versatile, Black Hot is often preferred for detecting animals at night. Red Monochrome helps reduce or prevent bright backlight from escaping the eyepiece. Sepia generally improves long-distance observation, while Red Hot, Rainbow, and Ultramarine enhance the display of temperature differences in various object details. Violet assists in faster object identification.
