The Bushnell Core DS 4K 32 Mp Trail Camera
The Bushnell Core DS trail camera allows you to capture 32 Megapixel photos or 4K videos of wildlife or people on your property. With a fast trigger speed of 0.15 seconds, the Bushnell Core DS-4K will detect motion up to approx. 36.5 meters away and will automatically adjust the motion sensor sensitivity based on temperature and humidity.
Key features:
- Dual Sensor Technology
- 30 Megapixel sensor for sharper and richer photos
- Night range up to approx. 36.5 meters
- F2.8 aperture
- 50° field of view
- Weather resistant
- Wide variety of adjustable photo and video settings
- Day / night detector
- Battery life up to 1 year with a single set of batteries
The DS (Dual Sensor) version integrates two sensors optimized for both daytime and nighttime photography. As a result, you will get sharper and richer photos during the day and images with higher contrast at night thanks to constant and more intense illumination.
The No Glow version features black LEDs for perfect invisibility. No light is emitted when triggered, making it almost invisible to the human eye.
Its infrared flash also has a range of about 36.5 meters, and the multi-flash mode technology prevents overexposed photos when taken with the flash at close range. You can configure the camera to take from 1 to 5 still photos per trigger event and set the interval between triggered captures from 0.6 seconds to 60 minutes to avoid filling the memory card with redundant images. The date, time, temperature, moon phase, and user-defined camera name are stamped on the photos. Video clips last from 5 to 60 seconds.
In addition to triggered images and videos, the Bushnell Core DS can capture time-lapse photos at programmable intervals with its Field Scan function. The Core can be mounted on a tree using the included strap or on a tripod thanks to its standard threading. It features a USB port so you can connect it to your computer to view images or videos, as well as an external power port for the Bushnell solar panel sold separately.
New features:
- Auto PIR sensitivity: The trail camera adapts to temperature conditions and automatically adjusts triggering. The device is more sensitive in warm weather, less sensitive on cold days.
- Removable battery tray: Easier and faster battery replacement.
- Geolocation: The user can enter the latitude and longitude of the camera's position. These coordinates will be embedded in each photo file, allowing you (with Google Earth or Picasa, for example) to display a map with the location of each camera and the recorded photos. This function is useful when using several Bushnell Core cameras in different locations.
- Multi-flash mode (LED control): Prevents overexposed photos when taken up close with flash.
- NV Shutter: The user can select the shutter speed for images captured at night, allowing for brightness control.
- The camera operating mode can be limited to day, night, or 24 hours.
- Preset modes for Feeder, Trail, and Food Plot applications.
- Dynamic video mode: Uses the animal's activity duration to determine the length of the captured file, so your video doesn't stop when things get interesting.
As for power consumption, the 12-month battery life with a single set of batteries guarantees you unmatched observation duration.
